Selected Portfolio
Below is a sample of projects we've managed. These are the end
results — unfortunately we have found no effective method
of presenting "before and after" values for the tone,
content and marketing strategies they employ! Our clients would
all agree (and references are available) that we have helped them
immeasurably in these areas. As you browse, keep in mind that most
of these projects were for one- or two-person businesses! Bigger
than life? We deliver.

For this client, we came up with
a compelling company name, arranged domain registration and
hosting, designed a logo and stationary. Then we worked together
to discuss and implement an effective website strategy. |

NY
Smarts
and
Smarts
Gallery |
|
NY Smarts solicits business from
international artists and designers. We've been involved in
all aspects of marketing this company, including: company
name, domain registration and hosting, definition of services,
website structure, website features (including an on-line
message forum where we seek to put the company at the center
of its target community), website content, writing of promotional
materials, and marketing strategy. We also developed the concept
of the "Smarts Gallery" and the "Calls For
Entries" in which NY Smarts solicits the interest of
artists and designers who represent their target market. |

DrRaz.com |
|
This client is an experienced
psychotherapist with technical expertise in several discrete
areas. We coached her to "package" her expertise
in a way that targetted specific groups of prospective clients,
and designed a site that gave her a framework to do so effectively. |

|
LowerEastSideReport.com |
|
A high-power NY Realtor dedicated
to providing service in her neighborhood turned to us for
a professional site with a local flavor. |

|
TheLegalLenz.com |
|
A real rush job; the most striking
thing is that this site was done in less than 24 hours! This
includes coming up with a domain name, registering it, setting
up hosting and email, planning the site strategy and architecture,
writing the content, and applying the design. |

|
SaveOurGarden.org |
|
When this community garden was
threatened with bulldozers, its supporters turned to the web.
Their site was the focal point of an effective and coordinated
campaign to save the garden through online petitions, high-profile
endorsements, and public awareness. |

KhushiKitchen.com |
|
This local restaurant needed
our help when their designer quit, taking the domain name
with her! We helped them select a new domain name, rescued
what few graphics remained in the search engine cache, and
built them an effective, economical site. |

StonecoRocks |
|
Stoneco supplies a wide range
of decorative rock and "stone masonry" products
in South Florida. We guided the folks at Stoneco to create
distinct marketing pitches that appeal to distinct target
customers, developed a look that would be broadly appealing,
and provided scripts to facilitiate the presentation of their
large and dynamically changing selection products. |

Nylo
|
|
This company produces cutting
edge men's fashions. The clients wanted strong design but
at the same time didn't want a design which would challenge
the design of the fashions they were presenting. |

| SL
Powers |
|
SL Powers, formerly known as
Gator Technologies, is a Computer Network services company
in Boca Raton, Florida. We structured this site, worked with
a graphic designer to develop a professional image, and maintain
the content on an on-going basis. For this site, we wanted
to do more than just describe what the business does. So we
added "alerts" to the home page and updated these
alerts whenever there was a breaking technology story. My
emailing these alerts to local newspapers resulted in our
getting a good number of interviews with the press! Most recently
we overhauled this site in an effort to give it top "search
engine" ranking (try googling the words "network
service boca raton".) We also regularly plan and
write direct marketing material for this company. |

The
Seward Park Buzz |
|
This is a personal website created
from scratch by our Director to address communications issues
in the co-op in which he lives. No fancy graphics here, but
there are many interactive features, and very spirited articles
designed to engage the interest of his community. Since its
introduction, the site has had very high traffic, high regard,
has been credited for spurring a notoriously inattentive Board
of Directors to act on certain outstanding issues. There was
also a
printed newsletter based on articles on this site. |

| HorseGym |
 |
What do you get for the horse
who has everything? A treadmill, of course. Actually, HorseGym
is a state-of-the-art training machine to be used to train,
condition or rehabilitate horses. |

|
| myNetWatchman |
 |
myNetWatchman represents remarkable
yet arcane network security technology. We performed an extensive
overhaul of this database-driven site in terms of functionality,
structure, strategy, editing and layout. We maintain this
site on an on-going basis. |

|
|
WebINCARNATION.com |
|
A sister company of MarketBigger.com,
we established the company name, hosting arrangements, and
defined the services to be offered. MarketBigger.com sites
are all hosted on WebINCARNATION.com servers. |

FIT Creative Recruitment |
|
This client wanted to do an "evite"
for an upcoming event. Our designer created designs for the
print, email and web invitations, and we developed the email
and web versions based on these designs. We also registered
the project's domain, arranged hosting, and configured the
form to deliver results by email to the client. The evite
was broadcasted to a large list of people. The positive response
was quick and outstanding. The event was just over one year
ago and the domain was allowed to expire. |

| Center for Folk &
Community Art (CFCA) |
|
The Center for Folk & Community
Art is a non-profit organization in South Beach, Miami Florida.
We maintain the organization's sites (listed below) on an
on-going basis.
The
Tapestry Project. We created an effective design to present
this post-9-11 project. We customized scripts to open gallery
images in a separate window.
CFCA
main site. We re-deployed the organization's main site,
assuring clean design, solid text, and consistency between
pages.
Dena
Stewart Artwork. We created a sub-site to profile the
artwork of one of the directors (this is a work in progress).

RunningInterference |
|
Our Director's first website,
which features some of his photography and writing. There
are rare updates (on the "rant and rave" page),
but the site is very old and external links to other sites
are probably all out of date. |
